1:1 Personal Strength Training

Train for anything you want to do with your body and for your life. From athlete specific training to longevity based needs. Our strength focused methods will get your body balanced, fit, and strong.

The difference at The Strength Oasis is in how we observe and assess you. We have been trained to see the small things about how you move starting with how you walk in from your car. We take our time to learn your habits and health history because we know that health is the key to long lasting results from the gym. Personal strength and conditioning is truly individualized here, because you are not a statistic.

Why 90 minutes? Some people want to hand the reigns over to their coaches completely. Warm up, train, and cool down with your trainer to get a feel for your needs before and after each session. Your coach will guide you through a tailormade system of preparation, execution and recovery that will teach you what your body needs while under his or her watchful expertise.

Small Group Classes

$440/month

  • 2 in person classes a week + 2 days of strength programming

  • Monthly group nutrition Zoom calls

  • In app messaging with your coach and in app monitoring of your progress

Our classes are unlike all the rest in Maryland. Our focus on customizing exercises for you, while sticking to the core components of the training plan gives you a new sense of ownership and specificity as you challenge yourself next to your classmates for 9-12 weeks of hard training.

Our program has been refined over the years to expose you to time tested progressions and pivots to keep your body adapting so you get closer to your goals every week.

Why the price tag? We customize the class for your specific needs and we always take into account your previous injuries and limitations. We also support your health goals with built in nutrition education delivered once a month via a group Zoom call with Gambit Nutrition.

Our programs require effort outside the gym. With each class you will have two extra training days for you to complete and track using our training app that the coach has access to.

Youth Class in the works, stay tuned

  • Two 45-60 minute in person classes a week + 1-2 extra days of programming

  • Group nutrition classes if there is interest. Otherwise we will provide nutrition education handouts or emails to support these kids and their long term health success.

Coordination is the name of the game. We expose our youth to a variety of movements and problem solving scenarios so they can figure out their own bodies.

Building a foundation of movement control is key to unlocking future athletic capacity. There is not a single athletic outcome that does not benefit from learning full body control and coordination at an early age.

Bodywork Sessions

These sessions are geared towards improving how your body recovers, moves, and feels with a hands on approach. We combine Gua sha, myofascial stretching, traction, and our own blend of manual techniques to get tissues loose around your body. These methods will leave you feeling physically lighter, emotionally more in balance, and moving better.

Unlimited access to your coach through messaging and video messaging services with our training app and through other means of communication. We want to help you build a lifestyle around your health so we encourage you to communicate with us as often as you need to feel supported and informed. Schedule a weekly video or voice call for the duration of your training cycle.

Unlimited access to your coach through video and audio messaging applications including our app. Stay in touch often and early to learn how to manage your own training by getting our feedback. Share videos of yourself training for us to get to know your movements better. We will be happy to schedule two video or voice check in calls every month during your training

Are you well versed in the use or dumbbells and barbells? Or are you a visual learner and can use video examples and cues to execute the exercises in your plan effectively?

Every online client starts with an assessment, both through a video call meeting and continued online. We will observe and discuss your movement, posture, health and movement habits, and any other important detail necessary to make sure your personal training system addresses your needs to prepare you for what you want. Keep notes in your training journal and schedule one thirty minute video or voice call a month for the duration of your training cycle.
